Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our design team and help shape the future of sustainable carpet solutions. In this role, you’ll lead the creation of innovative, eco-friendly carpet designs that delight our customers while meeting the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
As a key member of our design team, you’ll work at the intersection of creativity, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, mentor team members, and see your designs come to life in homes and businesses around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for new carpet collections from concept to production
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Develop sustainable design solutions that align with company values
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs
- Maintain design documentation and ensure brand consistency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in textiles or interior design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design solutions
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, etc.)
- Deep understanding of textile manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Textile Design, or related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Design or related field
- Experience in the flooring or home furnishings industry
- Knowledge of circular economy principles
- International work experience
- Proficiency in 3D rendering software
